Ben jij jong, bevlogen, en in voor een muzikale uitdaging? Dan is het VU-Kamerkoor wellicht het koor voor jou. Iedere dinsdagavond van 19.45 tot 22.15 uur repeteren wij op hoog niveau onder leiding van onze vaste dirigent Krista Audere.
Are you young, enthusiastic, and up for a musical challenge? Then the VU-Kamerkoor might be the choir for you. Every Tuesday evening from 19.45 to 22.15, we rehearse at a high level under the direction of our permanent conductor Krista Audere.
We are looking for sopranos and altos!
Our program for the spring of 2026 centers around Gabriel Jackson’s To the Field of Stars, an evocative modern work for choir, cello and percussion, with renowned cellist Maya Fridman. We will also perform Mahler’s second symphony with Nieuwe Mannheim Orkest in February of 2026.
We are looking for sopranos and altos who are available for one or both projects. Auditions will take place on Tuesdays 11/11 and 25/11, at the VU/NU building in Amsterdam. Check the important dates below, and apply for an audition!
